Why are our names in ALL CAPS in all of our legal documents and/or business related? Topic: How to write a in different fonts

Question: "In order to rightly comprehend a thing, inquire first into the names, for rightful knowledge of things depends upon their names.” You have been deceived and betrayed! Suffice it to say that you have been swindled, out of nothing less valuable, than your birthright and your sovereignty... simply through the largely overlooked, corruption of your name. Your name is a legal expression of who you are. How it is written has legal and lawful significance. “John Henry Doe” signifies a true name written in accordance with the rules of English grammar and prescriptions of law, “JOHN HENRY DOE,” on the other hand, does not. A harmless variant of the original? Just for clarity or readability? click here to read more.... http://www.worldnewsstand.net/law/U-Inc.htm Look at your Driver's Licence, Bills, Court Fees, Tickets, anything that has to do with business period. Your name is ALL CAPS! I challenge you to prove me wrong on that. Look at ALL BUSINESS names in all bills and all that is related to business and NAMES! They are ALL CAPS! Stay ignorant...whatever man... Don't be lazy and read the website on this link: http://www.worldnewsstand.net/law/U-Inc.htm

No, the font or case does not have legal significance. Your name is the same, whether written in Arial font versus Times versus ALL CAPS versus all smalls versus MiXeD CaPs. Or any other variant. The name is put in all caps in many legal documents because when the tradition started, there wasn't the option for bold or italics, so caps and underline where the only two forms of emphasis. And your generalization about "anything that has to with business " is so far from being correct that it's funny. My name appears on my bills in many different forms, and most of them are not all upper case. {EDIT} The reason many older databases used all caps is because earlier database programs did not have the ability to do a case independent search. So, to ensure that a search would always find the name, they standardized all entries to upper case.

For one there is no real reason to avoid it as that would be wasted effort. If you get sued you get sued...... if you don't have the money the judgement will sit on your credit report until someday you pay it. Or they will eventually garnish your wages. If they have made enough attempts to serve you they can stilll get a judgement against you. I would first call the card comany and gather some information. You need to make sure the account is closed..... not just that you can't use it and it is still accruing interest. Find out if it the debt has been handed over to inhouse collections or been sold to someone else. Either would probably reduce the debt if you pay now. If it is still in house they might take payments. Call that number and get more info. Ask for a name and an address to which you might send money to and say "you need to check your finances". Give no personal info such as bank accounts or social security. I say this because something is wrong. If it was up and up they would get a judgement without you, send you a certified letter, hand you a piece of paper when you least expect it or have deputies serve you. What purpose is there in going through your mail? They know where you live. Plus a guy just leaves a note saying he does not have to speak with a lawyer? No answer when you call..... do you not think a legit company would not have an answering machine? It sounds like a scam and something does not smell right. If someone went through your mail they could easily extract that you owe and impersonate a company. Actually now that I think about it check your credit report online and see your past account #s and what you owe. If it is legit it will be on there. Then call the police and file a report and have your neighbor weigh in a description of the person as well. Write down everything! Even if you owe this can be used in court against any supposed or real "collection" company. You would have to owe much for a company to go to these lengths. Sorry I went on but my very old mother went through this. She was about to get scammed but I got involved. She actually had paid but it was still passed to collections. With the police report...... things moved quick.

If you continue to evade service the plaintiff's attorney will file a motion for alternative service and attach an affidavit about his attempts to serve and your evasion of service and the Court can grant alternative service which would either be posting on your front door or delivery through 1st class mail. Evade for as long as you can but eventually the court will get jurisdiction over you and set a trial date. AT that point you will have to face the music. Good luck

It's done that way by custom and there's a practical use too -- people over 40 can figure out where they're supposed to sign without finding their reading glasses.

I am going to be a field researcher. Most of the field researchers I know work with plants (botany), water (marine biology), birds (ornithology) or animals (wildlife biology). Almost all areas of ecology have field research positions. Field work usually involves wading through streams and marshes for minimum wage. I study aquatic plants and usually work in tanks of mud or in the Chesapeake bay. You need both a college and masters degree to get a decent job and then you earn between 20 and 35 thousand a year. I think you need to narrow things down a bit. Genetics and astronomy are very different. Genetics involves working in a lab (probably). Astronomy is mainly computer modeling and math.
