Question: You can list more if you want. Here is my 5. 1) Don't Worry Be Happy - Bobby McFarrin http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bNE-5TVA... 2) Micky - Toni Basil http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NW7VnHnX3... 3) The Macarana - Los Del Rio http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sN62PAKoB... 4) Yellow Submarine - The Beatles (I love the Beatles but this song sucks) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DMd8dntfgAg 5) My Ding-a-Ling - Chuck Berry (To think this was the only #1 song for one of the greatest artists in rock history makes you wonder about the casual music listners buying this stuff) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MLBfwblps8

Only artists from what you have above that I've actually listened to are SwitchFoot, Family Force 5, and Anberlin. All three of them are good. Other bands that are Christian Rock, or "were" Christian Rock but have changed labels to sell more cds are (song names in parenthesis): Flyleaf (All Around Me, Fully Alive) Relient K (Be My Escape, I So Hate Consequences) Underoath (Reinventing Your Exit) kinda heavy music Fireflight (Unbreakable) The Beautiful Letdown (Dare You to Move) Thousand Foot Krutch (Bring Me To Life, Forward Motion, Already Home) The Almost (Say This Sooner, Lonely Wheel) Mae (Just Let Go, Someone Else's Arms, Summertime) Emery (Walls) some screaming Relient K, The Beautiful Letdown, The Almost, Mae, "Already Home" by Thousand Foot Krutch are all softer than the rest. Also, Flyleaf has acoustic version of "Fully Alive" that is slow hope this helps you!

TBH, I think its all a personal taste... like everything is with music. OK, well, as for the instrumentalists... its sort of tricky, because if you take a band, lets say... The Beatles, really, they used like what, 4 chords or so? and a lot of their stuff (at least early on) was very simple... yet it sounded a-freaking-mazing. And you know how a lot of people say they would rather have the guitarist play slower than say, like the guitarist from Dragonforce? Im the same way (again its personal). I dont necessarily like how some guitarists feel the need to show off with a thousand year long solo. BUT ON THE OTHER HAND, an instrumentalist does need to have SKILL, and TALENT, you know? if he sounds horrible, im not listening to them -.- And as for the vocalists, I love it when they have plenty of ranges, it keeps things interesting and not boring. Even as a singer, I find that they are sort of like story tellers, in a way. They need their voices heard and they need to keep the listener hooked. "Is it talent to take a bad singing voice and make it sound really good, such as Kurt Cobain or Brian Johnson?" I dont think that that's necessarily TALENT. I just think some people can pull it off, and some people can't. I think that when you play an instrument while singing, that just takes practice... lots of practice. not necessarily talent. BQ: UGH, its hard because I mean, a band can't stay the same through their whole career.. that'd be sooo boring at a time later on in the bands career.... but on the other hand, I wouldn't want a band to change every album either. balance is the key my friend. BQ2: Dylans :-) BQ3: oh geez... well, The Beatles, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Queen, RHCP. < half of those were random choices, I spent too much time on the first half :P
