That is not a "gaming" desktop. The video is low end, and probably has little (if any) dedicated video ram. It will play low end games ok, and maybe a few mid range games, but nothing in the serious gaming category. I can't find a quick reference for gaming performance for that exact card, but the laptop version (6530m) can be reviewed here: http://www.notebookcheck.net/Computer-Ga... Performance may be a bit better with a desktop version, but not by much.

its not bad but you can get a much better computer if you build one yourself with that much money. here's some articles you can read about building your own (its actually quite simple) http://www.pcmech.com/byopc/ and my personal favorite website to get computer parts http://www.newegg.com

As for just going out and buying one yes thats about right... um as for me I would have a Bigger processor and 2000 FBS(AMD) with all the above for around 950$ building it my self at www.NEWEGG.com but at 950$ the 22' widescreen would be a iffy :)

it's ok.. but seeing it's duo proccessor I would look for better deal. Last year I got a quad processor with similar specs of your computer with just the similar price. The only thing that's lacking would be my graphic card but at the time it was one of the best. (ATI radeon HD 3800) So I would look for other stores see what they have.

Its simple you can build your own computer (a better one) with your money. But if you cant build one its ok to buy it. But you could know more and build more confidence if you build it yourself.

This is a great computer, if you can get it for the price it's going for now. This computer will take graphics/sound cards, so it's great for the future, or if you want to run a demanding game on it.

That is a decent computer for school or work and burning DVDs, email, basic functions. If that is all you need, that system is great. If you want to use it for gaming or a specific program, please post that info.
