it is a stable question, i've got no longer a clue which it is and that i could come to a selection to confirm a as we communicate effective or no answer. i'm getting a similar blended messages because of the fact of fact the asker every time I pay attention approximately it. all and numerous above seems to particularly say 'we are able to yet i do no longer' and then components you their reasoning. All i actually could prefer to bypass off is which you do no longer see many JWs who learn components of view that assessment with their very own (aka apostate literature), so i'm getting the effect it would desire to prefer to be discouraged regardless of if it is not any longer against their policies (astounding me if i'm incorrect and there is particularly no stable JW stance on finding into opposing perspectives).

You're talking about footnotes, not footer numbers. Word has a very good footnote system that will not only automatically maintain the numbering sequence no matter what you do to the footnotes, but will also do its darnedest to keep the footnotes on the page (and out of the footer, too), as well as give them a format different from the normal text. To put in a Word footnote: 1. Position the cursor where you want the footnote reference to go. 2. Click on the Insert->Reference->Footnote menu item. 3. Click Insert. 4. Type the footnote. The footnotes are best viewed in Print Layout view, at least until you get used to how they work. Hope that helps.

I think your mixing footers with footnotes. When you view/edit header and footer they will appear on every subsequent page until you click the icon "different from last". However, this is different from footnotes. If you have footnotes for a page, when you are at the location in the text where you want a footnote number, go to menu Insert->footnote. This will give you the opportunity to enter the text for the footnote. These "footnotes" will appear at the bottom of the page above the "footer".

It should do that automatically. I've seen this happen when footnotes are of an excessive size, so try shortening your footnotes or reducing the amount of text on your page, otherwise I'm stumped on that one.
