Here's your correction: When I go out and buy some things for Willie, I start to get more involved in the village, which was a surprise to me, as well as the rest of the village. But I realized that the village is a community where everyone helps each other. I hadn't been able to love anyone since my wife had died, I thought I never would. When she had passed away I had lost all meaning in life and always kept to myself, but after I entered the paint shop I felt as if a heavy wave of sadness had suddenly been lifted from me. All the memories I had of my wife didn't seem as painful as I had imagined. When Willie came we both taught each other how to love. He taught me how to live again. He has made a lot of friends; he looked so amazed that people liked him for who he was. He was also doing well with his reading and writing, and I was happy that I was able to help. I deleted a line in paragraph 3 because it wasn't necessary for the story. You had already stated that you learned from each other. Hope this helps.

Hello there, Regarding your request to check the grammar in your homework I will write the sentences that need to be amended below. He let the students talk loudly to each other during the course without GIVING them ANY WARNING. He also cried when some of my friends threw him CRUMPLED PAPERS (leave out with) while he was teaching and suddenly out of the blue (means by surprise) he left the class without saying anything. In addition to this he made some course requirements easier when a few students complained. On the second meeting some of the students said that some parts OF the mathematics lesson.... so he decided to skip those parts and MADE THE DIFFICULT QUESTIONS EASIER FOR THE NEXT LESSON BY USING ADDITION AND SUBTRACTION. Finally he gave US the easiest quiz THAT we HAD ever taken. Hope this helps and good luck.! The rest seems fine and correct. WArmest Regards Always RIYAH4U

I ran out of steam about 2/3rds of the way through, but here are the most obvious errors: line 14: "adult" should read "adults" "Human" should perhaps be replaced with "humanitarian" in most cases, since all adults are, by definition, human. lines 19 and 20 look like you've just copied and pasted from Microsoft Word Thesaurus - not a grammatical error but it really doesn't work. The "old man" is mentioned without sufficient introduction. line 31: "son" should read "son's" line 32: correct to "...another idea: to make..." line 33: should read "for his own benefit" line 36: "He treated the old man exactly like a crab" are you sure you mean this literally? Perhaps you should remove "exactly". line 41: "In his point of view" should read either "From his point of view", or "In his opinion" line 43: "...either, much because..." perhaps you should replace "much" with "primarily" line 48: "angle" should read "angel" line 55: "reflects, that" the comma is unnecessary. line Overall you should try to increase the length of your sentences and avoid repeated words and phrases such as "also" (twice in the same sentence), "the chicken coop...receive any attention", "hens and old men", "man with wings" and "nevertheless".

“A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings” is a wonderful fantasy story by Garcia Marquez, which he described as a tale for children. It is a tale for children, because fantasy and magic are present throughout the story. Nevertheless, it is also a story for adults because the author also adds a splash of reality to it. The story is a combination of reality and fantasy which reflect many aspects of society. The story's main focus is to make readers understand that every living creature is a gift from God and should be treated equally. The author used very comprehensive vocabulary and language that helps the reader imagine vivid images to develop the plot of the story. This barely makes it a tale for children. The story leaves readers with many questions and teaches them moral lessons which make it a story for adults and a fantasy tale for children. The moral lesson in this story teaches adults to be human. Marquez, referring about different level of humanity, raised a question about the qualification of being human. The synonyms of humanity are sympathy, tenderness, and goodwill, while antonyms include inhumanity and unkindness. People in the story lacked the qualification for being human but scored higher on the opposite level of humanity. The author shed light over the different components of humanity which dealt with daily activities of life. Human beings are so concerned about their own benefits that they even forget to repay favors. Pelayo, a character in the tale, was the first to notice the presence of the old man. Lack of humanity, respect, and care towards the old man made him to try to kill him, but he still did not have the courage to see someone’s blood. After knowing that his presence cured his son’s illness, they hardly cared for him properly, which give them another idea to make him a circus animal. He used the old man for his benefit and never returned the favor. With the money he created a big mansion and his wife brought jewelry and clothes for herself. He treated the old man exactly like a crab while showing no respect at all. He created iron bars to avoid the old man and high nets to avoid crabs. The chicken coop was the only thing that did not receive any attention (273). The chicken coop did not receive any attention because it was a place for hens and the old man. In his point of view, hens and old men were just a source of income rather than living creatures. The town’s people did not care about the angel either, much because they doubted him being an angel. Nobody had ever seen an angel, but people still believed that they were supposed to be young and have beautiful feathers with gorgeous clothes. Nevertheless, the old man lacked the qualifications for being an angel; he was just a human with wings. As in other fantasy stories, the author did not directly present the old man as an angel, instead he described him as an old man with wings. The author presents the reaction of the people towards an individual who is different from the majority. The town people's attitude towards innocence and the helpless creature reflects, that being different can raise several questions for an individual. The Old man’s odd appearance made him a circus animal for the town people instead of a “Divine messenger”. The town people spent their time making assumptions of how similar he was to an angel by looking at his appearance. He was obviously an angel for Pelayo because his presence cured his child and decreased Pelayo's poverty. Nevertheless, Pelayo never returned the favor to the old man. The lack of respect towards the old man reflects another part of humanity. Nobody in the whole town tried to figure out the reason of the old man’s condition and his pain. All that they were concerned about was making judgments and drawing conclusions about his appearance. They burned his feathers and did not even try to console him when he stayed motionless because of his fever. The old man who brought happiness in Pelayo's life suffered from physical and emotional pain, but nobody took care of him. Pelayo tortured him instead of helping and appreciating his unique presence. The author emphasizes great details about humanity which made everyone question who the real human in the story is. The definition of "being human" has changed and evolved throughout history, but we have always considered ourselves to be above animals. Humans are better than animals because humans have moral values, a brain used to think, and emotions to reflect care and love. Every character in the story failed to meet the qualifications of being "human, except the old man. He is the real human being in the story who reflected patience, cared for town people, did not try to hurt them, and helped his owner to get rid of poverty. “His only supernatural virtue seemed to be patience.” (273) The old man’s patience obviously makes him not to be less of an angel. The town people played many games to find out if he was an angel or not. They put him in the chicken coop where hens treated him cruelly, threw stones at him and burned his wings to see if he was an angel or not. Nevertheless, town people failed to understand that his patience and calmness made him seem like an angel. The town people were full of superstition which made them believe that the old man was a devil because of his odd appearance. People in the town just wanted entertainment because after the presence of spider girl, they reflect more interest in her story and avoided the angel. They seemed to be influenced by the story of spider girl, who snuck out of her house without her parent's permission and suffered from a thunderstorm which turned her into spider girl. “The angel was the only one who took no part in his own act.” (271) The Old man’s presence in the story reflects the behavior and attitude of humans towards, what is in their eyes, inhuman or less human creatures. He did not participate in the story directly, but his presence raised many questions about humanity. This is a tale for children only because of the presence of fantasy and magic throughout the story. Nevertheless, this tale also teaches many aspects of humanity which humans are losing throughout the period. The main focus of the tale is to make readers curious about what is 'Humanity'. Cruelty, Selfishness and Racism are talking place all over the world. The truth is every living creature feels pain and we are more similar in many aspects to each other than we realize.
